PROVISIONER

Job Description: Provide provisioning support and analysis for government programs. The position requires the ability to perform detailed analysis and parts provisioning tasks; populate provisioning databases with data elements; run provisioning reports; and assist with parts acquisition analysis and planning efforts. The provisioner must be able to determine the correct level of spare parts, perform repair level analysis, and determine bulk materials necessary to support maintenance operations. The provisioner must be able to interact with other logistics specialists and provide information and technical support to managers concerning parts and budget forecasts, workload planning and obsolescence management. The provisioner must have experience reading and understanding Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), drawings, parts lists, electrical schematics, technical manuals, and other related publications. The provisioner must have experience with accessing, updating and maintaining databases; depot workload analysis; provisioning analysis; internal and external customer support with presentations and documentation; and conducting validation/verification sessions.

Responsibilities include receipt of a Bill of Material (BOM), assigning a Logistics Control Number (LCN) and Parts List in Sequence Number (PLISN), and entering information into a logistics database. Utilization of the BOM quantities, part numbers, TDP, and actual property to create RPSTL mark-ups to provide illustrations and to create electronic TM lines from the logistics database. Responsible for either fitting new/modified parts into existing structure or recreating new LCN/PLISN structure. The Provisioner will also conduct In-Process Reviews (IPRs) and Provisioning Conferences with the customer at their request. Reports and preliminary illustration may be required. Responsible for provisioning (and LSA) that will feed the Illustrator and Technical Writers work from their analysis.

Educational Requirements: Must have a BS degree in business or technical related field and 3 years of experience (minium). Four years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Experience Required: The provisioner must have experience reading and understanding Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), drawings, parts list, electrical schematics, technical manuals, and other related publications. The provisioner must have experience with accessing, updating and maintaining databases; depot workload analysis; provisioning analysis; internal and external customer support with presentations and documentation; and conducting validation/verification sessions.

Provisioning and parts management experience; Experience with PowerLog and POLS; Experience analyzing ECPs; Experience maintaining, reading and analyzing databases; Ability to use EXCEL and ACCESS efficiently. Self-starter with the ability to arrange own activities to achieve objectives. Experience with developing processes; Ability to transfer process/task knowledge to others on the team; Parts obsolescence management knowledge.
